Jimmy Carr is an award-winning insurance agent providing coverage for individuals, families, and business owners across Mississippi and Tennessee. Having graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2000 and the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2003, Jimmy is a proud Ole Miss Rebel.

After several years practicing real estate and business law, Jimmy opened his first State Farm office in Oxford, MS in 2011. His second office opened in Calhoun City, MS in 2022, the same year State Farm celebrated its 100th anniversary in business.

Jimmy and his team have a proud track record of success as evidenced by their numerous multi-year State Farm awards: President’s Club (Top 50 in the company), Chairman’s Circle, Ambassador Travel, SVP and Honor Club. Jimmy is also a member of Million Dollar Round Table, an exclusive group of industry-leading life insurance salespeople.

The key to Jimmy’s success is his emphasis on customer needs. He believes that his team should be available to help customers and ensure they get coverage to match their unique needs.

Jimmy’s hobbies include attending Ole Miss sporting events, traveling, exercising, and spending time with his family. Jimmy and his wife, Amanda, have been married for 15 years. They have 3 children: Cecilia (12), James (8) and McConnell (8).
